The Norwalk Lions Club was chartered on March 11, 1952, with 26 original members, under the sponsorship of the Cashton Lions Club.
Throughout the years, The Norwalk Lions Club has served the Norwalk Wisconsin area by putting hundreds of thousands of dollars back into the community. The Club has sponsored youth development programs such as educational trips to foreign countries, safety patrol trips to Washington D.C., the local FFA, 4-H and local youth athletic programs. The Lions Club has also donated shelters and playground equipment to the Village of Norwalk. Statewide, The Norwalk Lions Club donates money each year to the Wisconsin Lions Camp (Camp Rosholt). A camp dedicated to providing a quality camping experience, free-of-charge, to Wisconsin residents with disabilities. The Norwalk Lions club is also a major sponsor of Leader Dogs for the Blind. A nonprofit organization whose mission is to enhance the lives of people who are blind and visually impaired.
Locally we help provide funds and resources for many organizations and individuals in Norwalk Wisconsin and the surrounding area. Our fundraising efforts include the annual Norwalk Lions Club Truck & Tractor Pull, which has grown significantly over the years and has become a NTPA sanctioned event.
